I have really enjoyed getting to do shows through Afton and working with Amy K. I have gotten to perform at BB KIngs, Rockettown and The End. Doing these shows has let me live my dreams and I appreciate the opportunity that she has given me. Working with Afton and Amy has been good too. They are helpful and professional. The audiences have been very supportive and the show managers and sound people have been top notch. This has all been a huge blessing. I am a writer and have several songs I recorded professionally, as well as newer music that I play acoustic style at shows and they have been accommodating in whether I need a track or two mics and a guitar plug in for a show. I also have been able to invite family and friends. I am thankful for the great opportunity this has been. You do have to try to sell tickets, but that is just business.
We just played our first gig organized by Afton. There were no surprises and everything went according to schedule just as planned. We were also paid right away as detailed in the original agreement. We have no complaints about Afton and look forward to booking another gig though the service they offer soon.
Overall afton is a great and effective way to gain exposure for local artists. They have consistent shows lined up and there is no obligation. If youre an artist who has the drive for promotion and can get out there but dont have the budget to start doing shows, this is the way to go. *Order thermal tickets* I say this because they are basically free if you want to work for it. Sell enough tickets and get refunded your money. I would recommend Afton for any aspiring artists. The only problem is that you can never speak on the phone. Well at Least I Haven't. Its all done through email so if you have questions it might take a day to get back to you, But its never posed a huge problem with me.
I have been performing at Afton events for 1 year now and it has been a good experience. Afton is a great company for independent artist who have the desire to perform at big venues nationwide. I am an artist from Houston,Tx and I have enjoyed the booking opportunities I have gotten with Afton. Everything is straight forward and communicated well, and YES ARTIST ARE PAID FOR THEIR PERFORMANCES. They also print flyers and merchendise for the shows at a good price. I would definitely recommend booking with afton, especially if you are an independent artist. I am gaining lots of knowledge and meeting great people to network with.
Afton does an extraordinary job. This was our first time using them and we were so pleased with everything. Amy kept us on point. They also help to keep the ball rolling. The setup was easy and they handled all the hard stuff for us. All we had to do was contact our people with the link to our event and everything else was ready to go. I wish every show was as easy to work with the promoter as this one was. We had a great time, exceeded our expectations of the promoter, and had a great turnout that was a lot of fun. We are from outside of the area for the show we were promoting. Through Afton we were able to do everything online which made this show 100 times easier. Huge thanks to Amy and Ryan from Afton for treating us so well and being so helpful! AFTON ROCKS! Thanks guys!
