Afton is a one of a kind business that gives people like myself an opportunity artists can't find anywhere else. They communicate very well, their shows are organized and the artists get paid. Artists who don't get the recognition they deserve can boost their fan base through Afton. I have now worked with Afton for 2 years and they have consistently offered me opportunities to excel in the music world. This is a great way to start a music career, or to boost the career one may already have. I will continue to work with Afton as I have the past two years, and I hope others do as well!
I would like to say that *** my rep, and ***** did a great job with me and my groups show case on august 15th 2015.the process was easy to sign up forTthey stayed in contact from start to finish, They got to all of my questions in a timely manner . when we got to the venue the rep there was great on, and off the stage. The afton promotion was on of the best, there website help is great, flyer's, your gear, logo's all done in a snap, the easiest I've ever worked with I'm already looking forward to our next event with afton.
I've recently completed a show in the Downtown Dallas area that was Set-up, Organized and Promoted by Afton LLC. As a new musician to the Dallas Area I found that the lines of communication with Afton via email built a strong sense of trust and security. I say trust because, Afton serves as the middle man. Working with Afton was the first and most positive connection I've made toward my performance networking. Being introduced to Afton via Reverbnation Social Music Media was also a plus because It helped me understand Not all internet entities were out just to get my money. Afton also promoted performance campaigns on prominent social media sites that truly boosted My visibility to NEW FANS. Afton provided legal documentation for all aspects of my performance and allowed for questions and suggestions. On The Date of the Show Afton's Show Manager did a great job in communicating what was expected as well as adhering to requests of all the performers that related to setup, performance time and even small adjustments thereto. My experience was good. The only concern is everything is done by email, everything even simple questions.I would like to actually speak to the booking manager. But over all review is highly recommended. The venue for the performance was and a good location and had a receptive crowd. You do have to pre sell your tickets in order to guarantee your time on stage but you don't have to pay for them, its up to the fans to pay for, I like that they have a range of sevices online that provide everything that you need as a professional artists.
Our band had a great time playing the gig Afton got for us. World Cafe Live was a venue that we would gladly play again. Dealing with Afton seems pretty easy so far. They do require advance ticket sales but you are not responsible for paying for those tickets. We should be getting paid for our show this week but might not be a lot but that was based upon our ticket sales. We would use Afton again.
*** and the Afton service do exactly what they say they're going to do. Good w/ responding to any questions/concerns. I love that they are straight forward and, quite honestly, frank and true to musicians. I'm the same, I like things honest and very direct, aka, no bs. I'm sure I'll use the service again soon.
My experience with Aftonshows and their Staff was great. They never mislead me with tips and information on how to reach out to Fans. It's also a good management experience as well, because I had to constantly work to product great ticket sales, marketing and advertising and in person appearances. So it was a lot of work as well as little stress. The Manager that was on set was extremely helpful and reasonable. The Show it self went good, I brought out a nice crowd and so did others. Some people left, some stayed. To sum it up "I will Mos Def be getting intune with Aftonshows"
Excellent all around. Afton's got a really well-structured, easy-to-use system that really lets the artists they book focus all their energy on playing their shows and getting their names out there. Just had my first show at Voltage Lounge on June 10, in Philadelphia. Went amazingly well and zero hassle for me. Got there, checked in, got my time slot confirmed, and played my set. Planning on working with them a lot in the future.
