My rep was easy to contact, with quick replies. Show went pretty well. A couple of weird things happened. They split the night into a half rock and half R&B night. Nothing else bad of note. Paid as much as expected and everything else went great. Will use Afton again.

i was impressed with the professionalism of the AFTON promoters and booking staff. Tickets were easy to sell and print and they even offered very cheap merchandise for the artists retail. I am looking forward to working with afton again

Yes, we had a great time and the artist has an amazing performance. The contact person I worked with, ***, was very good at getting back to me and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I must admit though, she really took me out of my comfort zone in the sell of advance tickets, but in the end I learned so much about the process, in spite of my frustrations. For that, I'm very appreciate. On the day of the event, both the on-site Afton manager and the venue staff at the Star Bar were courteous, professional and willing to answer all our questions. Overall, it was a good experience.

Here is an honest review, Pros and Cons of Afton. Pros: 1) They are filling the void of managers who book bands for shows (the majority of bands out there are not represented and try to book shows themselves). 2) They are not charging bands for this service and generally try to book them into good venues. 3) My Afton Agent in Denver, **** *****, has been responsive and supportive of the band's needs and requests. Cons: 1) They will pack a show with as many bands as they can, give them a 30 min time-slot and require a minimum of 20 - 25 tickets sold per band. I can understand the point behind this (they need to recoup the $ spent on renting the venue and paying the sound-guy and employees), but perhaps another method can be devised that the venue can contribute towards (alcohol sales and sponsorships can help towards costs). 2) Bands get about 10 - 20% of the door and the rest goes to Afton. Many local venues expect bands to play for free, so I guess they get something for their effort. But it could still be better.

Afton LLC is agreat booking company if you are definitely stiving to get yourself or your artist a platform. These guys are here to help you every step of the way. From the time of me setting up my account with them to book my artist to the end of the performance they were on point. I would definitely use Afton LLC for future events.

Since first doing a performance in 2009 for their company I noticed that they well very professional about how they do things and how they operate.
