I have been very happy with the services performed by Afton: providing a ready-to-go venue complete with sound system, lights, a sound man, ticket taker at the door, no-host bar, poster art, online advertising, thermal tickets! All I had to do was guarantee ticket sales of 20! And I got tickets for my friends at $5 off door price! It has been a great way for me to be a bandleader and hire the best players, and give them a fun place to play. A "show" venue is far more respectable than a tavern or nightclub. Also we had an appreciative audience in the other musicians performing. We can play anything we want and present as we see fit. All my players and fans have had a good time. Also it has been a handy showcase for the release if new music from our label.
